Strategy & Advisory

Advisory, including when no production is commissioned.

For a house that is unclear in its communication, for content that does not hold together, and for priorities that are missing. Also when an opening or a campaign needs a concept before anything is made.

Fields

Five fields

A commission takes the fields the question requires. It does not have to run through every one.

  1. Content & Communication Review

A reading of what the house currently says, where the channels disagree, and which gaps should be dealt with first.

    Review

  2. Positioning into Communication

The step from an existing positioning into lines, themes, and messages that can be used in public.

    Position

  3. Creative Direction

A direction for imagery and film: what the worlds should share, and what each world has to carry on its own.

    Direction

  4. Content & Channel Planning

Which formats belong on which channels, and where photography and film are planned to appear.

    Channels

  5. Campaign & Production Roadmaps

What to make for a campaign or a production, and in which world, so the next commission has a clear order.

    Roadmap

(01)Results

Possible results, depending on the question.

Depending on the question, the work may come back as a review with priorities, as communication lines and themes, as a creative brief, as a content and format plan, or as a campaign or production roadmap. Each one gives the house something to decide or to make: what to say next, and what to produce. A brief does not automatically include every one of these.

Sequence

Four beats

Advisory can stand alone, or continue into photography and film.

  1. Understand the situation

The house as it communicates now: what is unclear, what is inconsistent, and where priorities are missing. An opening or a campaign without a concept belongs here too.

    Situation

  2. Analyse and align

Compare the existing materials and channels, and align on what the communications task actually is.

    Alignment

  3. Set a direction

Choose the lines, the themes, and the creative direction that later content should follow.

    Direction

  4. Hand over recommendations

Recommendations the house can act on. The advisory may end there, or continue into production in one or more worlds.
